Great stuff. What comes across very clearly is the essential role of important concepts like honor, respect, effort, and committment that seem to be embedded in the culture of lacrosse. I find that the linkage of these things to other "mainstream" sports like baseball, football, basketball, and even soccer (whoever called it a "gentlemen's sport played by thugs" was absolutely correct in my view) is less than it once was. That's why my son is playing Lacrosse at age 6. He loves it, and I love watching him play.

This interview is excellent. I worked with Blake and Cort's mom and know where they get such a grounded outlook on things.
I love how Cort promotes the sport and not himself, even when questions are pointed toward him. Can't wait to see them play out here on the East Coast!

Cort and Blake Kim are two wonderful gentlemen. The interview with Cort was outstanding and reflective of his class and commitment to lacrosse. I have had the pleasure of knowing these two fine men since they were in high school and they continue to impress.

I wonder how many MPHS players have 100
reps of wall ball for the entire summer...although catching and throwing on the run works to build up skill levels. Any commitment to improve outside of the game is a PLUS!!
